In November of 2009 we decided to take a break from being full timers and bought a mobile home in Winterhaven resort in Brownsville Texas that was right behind the RV lot that we bought last year.  Carrie had to have a knee replaced so the timing was just right. Carrie had the knee replaced the first week in January and was able to heal in our home. In April I enclosed part of the carport for a screen room

As often happens with us we were all set to spend the year in Brownsville when we heard a message in church on Sunday entitled if you are not growing you are dying. Right after that message we decided that we needed to get back on the road working in MAPS so we will leave Brownsville on the 10th of July heading up to Carlinville Illinois where we will both be working at the big Convention and conference center campground for AG.

After several trials including g 5th wheel suspension and tire problems we made it to Springfield MO. Where we stayed for 4 days seeing old friends and getting the rig and truck back in good condition, Then on the 3rd of July we hit the road for Carlinville in what was a pleasant road trip. We are set up and ready for what ever God has in store for us next.

 

We spent 6 weeks in Carlinville IL. Working at the conference center. Carrie’s knee became much worst so she scheduled surgery and we are back in Brownsville Texas.

 

Carrie had her 2nd knee replaced August 24th 2010 and after a month is driving again and back in the pool plus doing rehab to regain range of motion of her knee. We plan to travel to my Daughter’s wedding in Charleston SC on October 10th 2010.

 

On the 10th of October my daughter Katherine was married in Charleston as you can see I am a proud father
